Justin W. R. Renshaw has been licensed to practice law in Texas since 1999.  Over the course of his career, Justin has advised individuals, small businesses, and Fortune 500 companies on a broad range of subjects, including domestic and international transactions, start-ups, mergers and acquisitions, financing, dispute resolution, and employment matters. Justin has also successfully tried a variety of complex commercial and personal injury cases in state and federal courts and has represented creditors, debtors, and trustees in bankruptcy.

  • Served as Legal Officer on the Incident Management Team for the Deepwater Horizon casualty and resulting response, assisting in procurement, remediation and cleanup, and governmental and media relations
  • Represented a group of U.S. and foreign private equity investors in multi-million dollar acquisition of oil and gas services company, including all associated intellectual property rights
  • Represented numerous owners and lenders in vessel acquisitions, sales, and financing, including the preparation of related documentation for vessel registrations in both the United States and in foreign jurisdictions
  • Successfully defended multi-billion dollar closely held company in $100 million breach of lease and development agreement for port infrastructure and real estate development project
  • Negotiated and prepared multiple oil and gas equipment purchase and sales agreements representing both purchasers and sellers
  • Negotiated and prepared various power generation equipment purchase and sales agreements and engineering, procurement and construction (“EPC”) contracts for U.S. companies doing business domestically and abroad
  • Assisted multi-national refinery terminal operator with multi-million dollar improvement project under the Shipping Act and Water Resources Development Act
